課程簡介：
從事製造業的工程師或業務人員，想要快速提升有關製造工程方面的專業英文能力，不應找一般的英 文 老師、學一般的生活美語，而是要學有針對使用需求作特別規劃的課程、要找具有工廠實務經驗跨領域的英 文 老師、並採用和工作內容相關的英文教材，才能達到事半功倍、現學現用的效果。真正全台唯一為工程師所打造「製造工程ESP (English for Specific Purposes) 專業英文特訓課程」的內容如：產品研發、採購、報價、模具、生產、包裝、製造、品管、檢驗、測試等都和企業、工廠運作息息相關，讓工程師或業務人員能在最短的時間內、有效率地學好工作上所需要的英文，可以和外籍的工程師一起工作、直接溝通、面對面的討論問題。
課程特色：
所採用的教材是由幾位有十幾年工作經驗的美國工程師及專業經理人在台工作期間所衍生出來的，所以本課程的特色是：
－ 全台獨一無二，並沒有任何其他文教機構有辦法提供類似的英文課程。
－ 內容完全和企業運作、工廠實務息息相關。
－ 提供國際產業通用、實用的美式英文，跟坊間制式、學院派的商用英文截然不同。
－ 將台灣產業現況及實際經商環境融入「專業英文」的學習中。
－ 內容包羅萬象，舉凡需用到英文的各行各業皆可採用，並不跼限於製造業。涉及製造業的部份則包括傳產及高科技電子業。
研習方式：
－ 正式上課前先做學前測驗以了解學員的英文程度。
－ 提供可應用到工作上的實用專業英文，作為學員在聽、說、讀、寫全方位學習模仿之用的資料庫。
－ 強調動口說：經由朗讀課文、背頌佳句等方式訓練口語能力。
－ 強調動手寫：除了作業練習外，學員須每星期寫一篇和自身工作內容相關的英文書信，經由電子郵件傳給講師批閱。
－ 每次上課前小考十分鐘，兩個月段考一次，成績提供給公司人資處作為考核參考用。
－ 某些單元；如說明製程或品管檢驗流程，會用實際產品來對照。
－ 由擁有15年以上海內外工作實務經驗、十年以上教學經驗、編著有「LiveABC」出版的「商務實戰英語書信實例」一書的作者親自授課。

Thank you for your message and your interest in our courses. Our ESP (English for Specific Purposes) courses cover two main content areas － Technical Operations and Business Affairs. Excerpt that Business Affairs course is scheduled for 102 / 4 / 2 to 102 / 6/ 18 at FCU, we don’t have a plan for the Technical Operations course yet. For getting the updated information I would suggest that you visit FCU’s website as often as you would like or stay in frequent touch with FCU. I apologize for not having been in contact with you sooner as I got some serious problems with my computer. In response to your enquiries, FCUE (逢甲推廣) is planning to start the 3 month Business ESP course on April 2. The tuition will be NTD. $5000 without subsidy. If the course is approved and authorized by Bureau of Employment and the Vocational Training (職訓局), the most of the tuition will be subsidized by this government agent and the trainees shall pay $1000 only. Regarding the Engineering ESP course, we don’t have a plan yet. In any event, I suggest that you visit the website of FCUE (逢甲推廣) periodically to get access to the information you request.
