背景說明：台灣連絡辦事處向美國總公司報告OEM代工廠打算在

大陸設廠。

The OEM manufacturer is deciding in the meeting later this month

whether¹ to open a factory in China. Our opinion, of course, is that

we don’t want our products moved there. 代工廠在月底要開會決

定是否要在大陸設廠，我們當然反對我們的產品(生產線)被搬到那

裡。

關鍵字解析：

1.    (conj) 是否；whether後接不定詞片語當及物動詞decide的受

詞，在此or not因該名詞片語太長所以被省略

2.    (vt) 開立，開設，開辦

3.    sb’s opinion is that + 名詞子句，意思是"某人認為 ……"

4.    our products 無法自行產生move這動作，所以要用「過去分

詞」表被動
